Coming from the South, Lisbon area or Airport, you can choose the highways A1 or A8 to arrive to Alcobaça.

If you choose A1, exit at Aveiras and follow IC2 until you find Alcobaça signs, at Km 81, where you can follow through EN 8-6. If you choose A8, exit at Alcobaça/Valado dos Frades and follow EN 8-5 until Alcobaça.

If you come from the North, Porto or Coimbra, follow the A1 highway until Leiria’s exit and then search for A8 highway signs. Already on A8, leave it when you see the exit for Alcobaça/Valado dos Frades and follow EN 8-5 until Alcobaça.
