Stravinstrio takes the 2nd Prize and Púrpura Trio receives the 3rd Prize being Éclatant Ensemble awarded with an Honorable Mention

The Final of the Junior Category at the 3rd International Chamber Music Competition “Cidade de Alcobaça” (CIMCA), held during today’s morning at the Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro, awarded the 1st Prize to Incertus Trio (flute), also awarding the 2nd place to Stravinstrio (piano, violin and clarinet) and the 3rd place to Púrpura Trio (piano, violin and clarinet). The Jury decided also to award an Honorable Mention to Éclatant Ensemble (flute, oboe, bassoon, horn, clarinet and piano).

So, Incertus Trio will  perform at the CIMCA’s last day, november 1st, at the Awards Ceremony and Winners Concert, at 21 pm, an event where they will be joined by the winner of the Senior Category.

The Final, in this last category, will happen tomorrow, October 31, Thursday, starting at 10:30 am, as always, at Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça – João d’Oliva Monteiro. We recall, once again, the six ensembles that will compete for the various prizes: Pulsat Percussion Group, Fussion Percussion Duo, Trio 92, R2T2 and Contratempus Quartet.
